Her name is Xin Xin from Shanghai, she is the editor of magazine called "Easy" that features any trendy brand, fashion, art, and entertainment happening there.
She is 24 years old and has been working for about 2 years.
There are lots of stuff from Japan that are featured in the magazine such as pop stars, tv dramas, and fashion just like her feminine look influenced by Japanese girls.
She said the trends in Shanghai is changing very fast and there are always new things happening. Young people are always seeking for their own style, they don't want to be the same as others. They like the customized or limited items. They don't go to a deparment store, they rather go to smal boutiques to find unique things. "Weird" just like her shoes is popular and show the sense of originality.
The way of thinking has changed incredibly. Women are more independent and cosmopolitan. They want to be feminine, but they want to be neutral at work. They act and talk less feminine and direct at work not to be looked down by men and wants to compete men. They differentiate their styles and attitudes between work and private.
Women were simpler mind, more focus on getting married at younger age. But nowadays, after graduate the school, they get more exposed in society and become developing their own styles and the POV of marriage is changed. They want to do many things before marriage, want to challenge their successful career which cause the delay of marriage around 30.
She loves running long distance. Running brings her happy and comfort that something she can not stop doing and because of it, she can be strong and confident to work hard and overcome any difficulties, that is how she motivate herself to achieve great work and compete with men.
Sports became a big part of her life to challenge next level. I know she is too busy these days, but I am hoping she finds more time to run to keep up her energy ;)
